2011 LTC Cleveland Ace Race/Ace Revenge

The 4th Annual LTC Cleveland Ace Race was held on September 11, 2011. Using only the prototype Discraft discs (large-diameter putters this year), players traversed a shortened version of the course playing from temporary tees, with the goal being to hit the most aces.

Our winner this year, Ryan Robertson, had 3 aces and 2 metal hits, and numerous other players had aces as well as tons of metal hits.

Immediately after the Ace Race we held our 2nd Annual Ace Revenge, where players played a nearly identical short course using any 3 of their own discs, and for an upgrade fee they received a Gateway Wizard to use as a bonus 4th throw. Playing one round of 20 holes, nine foursomes threw all 3 (or 4) discs at every hole, with the Revenge winner receiving a portable basket, the Gateway winner receiving a Bullseye practice basket, and each card playing for a last-hole CTP of a first run Gateway Slayer.

It seems like everyone had a blast, and this was by far our most successful (and most fun) event yet! You've got a year to prepare for our 5th, which will be quite the commemorative bash! Thanks to everyone who supports us every year, as well as all the newcomers each year we run our event!
