I think i heard about Brian doing that vocal overdubbing clip to show the session musicians what the general "feel" of the track should sound like.

Rich, powerful, and so well designed musically and then vocally. LOVE the string track and the vocal piece that led to the string arrangement. Pet Sounds was truly an innovation.

Pet sounds for me, is a brian wilson solo album with the bbs on backing vocals.Its hard to beleive that one man could have that much talent musically.!

I am pretty sure that 1:05 - 1:25 is the most beautiful vocal piece I have ever heard - and it isn't even in the song!
Pet Sounds IS the greatest album ever made...nothing comes close and nothing probably ever will.
