  • What type of substrate is that?

  • the substrate is Color Quartz made by 3M. You have to purchase it from a 3M dealer. Used for making pools.

  • what kind of food is that ?

  • that would be aquadyne sinking flakes.

  • Have you notice any aggression between any particular species?

  • i have no real aggression at all. the tank is pretty harmonious.

  • Hello verizonizer!

You have an excellent collection of fish species. Unfortunately your tank looks so artificial, plastic plants and tubes, and black sand. Please, try real rock (dramatic looking...) formations on a small scale, some rocks directly from the front glass and leave a sand area for Cyathopharynx. Benthochromis and Frontosas come from deep waters with rocky environment and Haplotaxodon is an open water species. You could get a more natural looking scenery.

    Kind Regards,

    Janne Aho

  • nice tank. :)))

  • Wow, what's that fish at the top with an up-ward turned mouth?

Sorry, don't know much about tanganyikans!

  • and would i be able to purchase that online or i n person and does it have harm for the tank water??
