Got this idea while I was working at GP's on 2009 07 15. He had been wiring up some stuff and while I was waiting for him to finish that, this idea came to me. Just before we went back to work on his tune, he turned the camera on me to catch me with the idea.

  • Cool, Larry. Is that a Carvin guitar?

  • No, it's a Line6 Series 700.

  • The headstock looked similar to one of Carvin's new designs. Sounds like it's generating a Sitar tone.

  • Yes, that's because it is set to the Sitar emulation. The Line 6 electric guitars have that built in... love it!

  • Sounds like a lot of fun. I understand these emulate a lot of different guitar types, both acoustic and electric. Must be a great tool for hashing out new ideas.

Do you plan to post more development of this riff (i.e. as you turn it into a finished piece)?

  • Maybe... don't know yet.

  • That felt good to my third eye and throat chakras. Really nice and flowed well. It sounds like you were traveling the world with your guitar and picked up the spice from several regions.

  • good combination of sitar feeling with outer space future, past and future are definitely merging my friend.

  • I look forward to it if you do!

  • Close your eyes and listen. I see it in ivory.

  • I like how that flowed. Very pretty.
