Actually, this is a plot remake of first Fatal Fury, although Duck actually did lose to Terry in a street fight when they were children.

To unlock Duck King, beat the game with Mr. Karate and don't lose a round then defeat Duck King. You also get Team Battle mode for getting to fight this character, even if you lose.
