55g Community tank - Updated Aug 26th 2008

I have 2 Discus,1 Angel,2 Cutteri Cichlids,3 Cardinal tetras,4 Rainbows and 1 Striped Raphael Catfish.Discus and Angel are over a year old. The blue Discus was stunted when I bought him, but he is slowly coming around with good food. Hopefully he will develop. But these are not show fish.. they are my 'family' of pets and I love them anyway. :-)

thanks... the BD is the only one that is stunted and had been that way as a juvi, tho he has grown a lot since, but will always be stunted. As the title says, they are in a 55g tank.They are not breeder Discus, and I love them like I do the family pets! :-)

what a beutifal tank. I just purchased a 55 gallon tank (currently cycling it) and it looks terrible compared to yours

The current looks a little strong for your discus there but overall nice tank.

i like your setup, i got 6 minnows, 2 goldies, 5 barbs, 1 silver shark, one scissor tail, and some danios. will they be ok?

(i know the goldfish shouldnt be put with tropical, but my mum wouldnt let me get rid of them)
