that takes it out of context because they are mutually exclusive to their environments; if there was a sport like snowboarding but you weren't strapped in that would be comparable, but it's unrealistic. And the only difference is that you are strapped in and can do less tricks

as far as YOUR imagination goes....i've seen a guy changing his board for another in a Vertical bs air...backflip onefoot,...you know...all the tricks you can do with snowboard more or less...but in the street. By the way...I just openned a skatepark...if you want to come someday...it's located in Barcelona, you will be welcommed. DOSPUNTOZERO

Well skateboards do that too just put better rotations in and more flip tricks...better

Look,...I think it's not worthy comparing streetboard and skateboard...they are different in the same way you wouldn't compare skateboard and snowboard...or do you?

You might be right, yet although streetboarders can do things that can't be done on a skateboard mainly involving rotation, the difficulty is far greater on a skateboard in terms of technique and skill. I'm not denying that streetboard is hard to a certain extent, i'm simply saying that skateboarding is harder.

First off, mikeylawrence and streetboarder177, quit your bitchin'.

Streetboarding is not for people who can't skateboard and skateboarding is not for people who can't streetboard, not anyone can skateboard just like not anyone can streetboard. Both are interesting in big ways.
