20 Great Songs of the Decade. 20 to 1 a programme on Channel 9 hosted by australian Tv legend Bert Newton counts down the top 20 songs for Music that rocked the world this decade. To make the list every song had to be a massive chart busting hit.

The Prayer came in at No.5 first when the greatest voices in Opera and contemporary music come together with Celine Dion/Andrea Bocelli's duet in 1999 which won a Grammy and Golden Globe award. Then again in 2004 with the powerful showstopping version by Anthony Callea, which went on to hold the No. 1 position on the Australian Aria Charts for 5 weeks running and to become the fastest and highest selling single by and Australian artist of all time, a record that still holds today 4 years on.

I think he's amazing! Does anyone know if there's a third CD coming out? There is very little info about him in the United States which is a shame as if more people knew about him they'd love him.

Hi gcomeaunyc, Anthony has just finished a six month stint in the Melbourne production of Wicked the Broadway musical & is about to hit the studio's to start work on his 3rd album, hopefully out mid year or earlier. It would be great if he got more recognition in the US he seems to have a lot on fans commenting from overseas on his Youtube clips. He actually just returned from New York, where he met with the producers of his next album, so hoping that leads to something being released there.

You should have a look at some of his recent TV performances they are just beautiful, O Holy Night and Ave Maria are standouts. Also This Is The Moment, Nella Fantasia, Come What May, Go The Distance, When You Believe are a few to check.

He did indeed. I would have loved to see Anthony and Celine perform this when he toured with her earlier this year, it would have been wonderful.

One of the most amazing singers I've ever heard. At 1:18, when he hits that high note, I was in awe, as was the audience (they begin to stand). For anyone to say he is not one of the best is to prove themselves a fool.

Can't wait until his next CD.

Absolutely stunning Anthony I LOVE it. I will always love it. I also loved it that Anthony sang The Prayer when he was special guest for Celine Dion and was given a standing ovation. He is a phenominal talent and Australia should be so PROUD of him. I know I am.
