Haha, I got only one which may be good or bad. Does anybody know approximately how long it takes them to grow to full size?

I am not sure exactly, but you can tell whether they are male or female by about 5 or 6 months and they are able to breed at about 12 months old.
I guess they get to about their adult size between 6-12 months old but can probably still grow in size up to about 18 months.

Well, not as far as you know. They may have had battles when you weren't looking and may have already decided who is boss. ;O)
Catfish, as I'm sure we all know are often more active at night than during the day.
