My plants were pearling after I did a water change. I noticed they release more bubbles from places, where I have trimmed them.

  • What is pearling, and is it good?

  • Plants produce oxygen during the process of photosynthesis. A lot of times this is not seen, because the oxygen produced gets dissolved right away into the water. When the water is saturated with dissolved gases, you see the bubbles form. It means your plants are doing what healthy plants do, so yes it's good.

  • but how do you trim your plants??? my friend has a REALLY planted tank. He says if he put snails in it they would say "Oh Boy!!! lOOK at this SALAD!!!!" and i'm worried that my tank will start getting planted too much and i wouldn't know how deal with it. and how do you clean the rock on the bottom of the tak when its covered up by plants???

  • that pink plant is nice, what is it?
