  • If you want to see serious Diastasis Recti, join Facebooks "Diastasis Recti Support Group". The woman in this video has the smallest belly I've ever seen. My belly looks 9 months pregnant and my baby is 11 months old. Strangers ask me when I'm due. This video is very upsetting to those of us with severe DR. I don't think it's fair that you tell people "If I can do it, so can you." Trust me.. you are not dealing with the same thing we are!! Educate yourself!

  • @007soulmonkey Excuse me? U do NOT know me, nor do you know how 'severe' my diastasis was while I was stretched out in pregnancy. Binding ur belly is definitely a first resort before EVER thinking about surgery, no matter what the diastasis size. I feel 4 u, but obviously u are quite ignorant & a downright nasty person. I believe if anybody WANTS to make positive changes to their bodies & applies them to their lives, they can do ANYTHING. Don't get pissed at me because u lack such motivation.

  • PS- I am a member of that group FYI. You need to start binding, do some exercises that are helpful for your condition, and improve yourself. It's nobody's fault but your own if you don't make the effort...SORRY but true. I'm a nice person, but don't dare push my buttons on such a topic that is very sensitive to me. GL on losing the 'babt belly.'

PS- Ajust your attitude and you will go far in life. Now you are banned!! I don't need stress from people like YOU. I'm here to help others.

  • PSS- If you have a 12 finger diastasis...then maybe nothing can help you but surgery. I'd always recommend the cheapest and easier approach b4 ever going under the knife. I've had 5 full term kids and a 6th baby..still born. Don't you dare tell me I don't know ANYTHING. OK?? Plus I wasn't always thin either, so check yourself before making ASS-UMPTIONS.

  • More less a the minute 5:00 you say "it's not perfect"...I say IT'S PERFECT,IT'S THE PERFECTION!

I hope I'll learn from you something good to better my belly!

  • @SuperIrene85 Thanks so much for the kind comment. All of the best to you, and if you ever have any questions, feel free to contact me via my website. Always happy to help a friend in need! I consider everybody who is kind, to be my friend..so you are one in my book! :) xoxo Shelly

  • Hi ,

Thank you a lot for sharing this. I did not have so much of a gap during my first delivery but after the second I knew it was definitely more than 2. found this video 5 months post partum and I really can feel the muscles working together when I do this. I read somewhere that doing this without doing core exercises might do harm . Is that right? Any comments appreciated. Once again thank you a lot and I must say you look great . cheers!

  • @NozomiSky You are very welcome. I will continue to. I'm always happy to help:) xoxo Shelly
