Hey AussieFanXCIV, you say that the ones that are aggressive are not killed, yet you do not say what becomes of them?? it is horrable what happened to to his brother who died in the labor camp. But are we not keeping these animals against their will in these cages? and why dont humans treat these animals the way they would be intrested in being treated, with respect.

@KitOnVideo I don't think the foxes give 2 shits about how people view their image! It is absolutely absurd!

Weather this is an important study or not a life in a cage is not a good life for any living creature! You should be ashamed of yourself for promoting such a selfish experiment! Jerks. And when they die of illness or old age in a cage they get skinned for their fur! Sick, sick people. They were born with their fur to keep themselves warm not people! I hate people like this!

@safeek73 Did you know that you are full of shit. The ones with aggressive tendancies are not killed, there is a second line that has been bred to be genetically dispositioned for aggressive behaviour. Were you also aware that these foxes are the fruition of a 63 yr expirament to discern the effects of genetics on the domestication of animals. Did you know that Balyaev the man who did this was endangerd by Stalin's laws regarding research and that his older brother died in a labor camp

This is horrible, humans need to respect nature and leave these animals alone. Do you know that the ones that are still aggressive are killed? and the ones that are not get to live, all this because humans are selfish beings. Leave nature alone. Foxes are wild leave them in their environment.

i wish i could have one of those. I love Foxes.

@SuperStarsNStripes The breeding of aggression out of foxes, producing an animal comparable to the domesticated dog, is proven. They're not neurotic...no more than a dog can be.
-
Better they live in a small cage and get affection, food and love, than get hunted and trapped for their fur. the research being done here is changing the old idea of the fox as a wily nasty chicken-terrorist to one of potential loving life partner!! All of nature is impossibly beautiful. thank you for this video.

The variation in coat color, the tameness... it's a fine example of domestication, and it's cool to know that we can do this. But I can't help but feel peeved at the size of those cages.

They have to live all their life in a cage? Maybe they are neurotic, not tame.
I agree.
