Brilliant bar. Was there in January. There's a room upstairs as well. Try the house beer "De Garre" at 14%. Excellent atmosphere. You get free cheese with your order which compliments the beer. Also, if in Gent (Ghent), go to the Dulle Griet, which is equally as good. It's in the main square. If you get a certain drink with special glass, you have to deposit a shoe, which is put in a basket and hoisted to the ceiling! You get it back when the glass is returned intact.
