unexplainable sound phenomena in norway 2011

I was up playing video games late at night. About 0300-0400 and I heard this noise. I turned down my surround to see if it was my speakers, (Playing Skyrim) I thought it was the game. ....It wasn't, a few seconds later my wife came out of our room and said it woke her up. I thought it might be a car stereo outside, the only thing was my neighbors old truck ( no stereo to speak of) was running and they were looking around too! It stopped and started again about 30 min later. It lasted about 5mi

Theory 1: The sounds comes from a interdimensional portal which can take you to other planets, this is mostly a subject connected with the Ancient Aliens theory.

Theory 2: There are small people, Gnomes (Tomtar, Nissar, Vättar), working or doing something else under the ground.
