Here is a video that was created for a brief submitted by Blyk for the D&AD awards. The students were from the university of chester. The Brief was to:

Create an integrated marketing campaign that demonstrates the marketing power of the newest media channel, the mobile phone, especially when marketing to the 16-24 year old audience

The video achieved a second in the category, and was awards a D&AD student awards 2009 Yellow Pencil.

The video was the main focus of the campaign. Its a strong, powerful, yet humorous way to tell a story visually. Its supports our message, Blyk the new way to advertise fully as it proves how powerful the mobile phone can be to an advertiser. The idea is that whilst their potential target market are busy using their mobile phones they are not taking note of the advertisements around them. The only way to get their attention is through Blyk.

We decided to use popular and recognisable adverts because our target audience, advertising creatives and media planners, had created them. By using these adverts we were creating a sense of involvement and it might also help them to pass the video as it is incorporating their adverts.
