someone should get a license from Lucas film and mass produce full sized R2. Chinese factory probably can make one for couple thousand dollars, including the aluminum body, motorized legs and dome etc.
Someone already has, although I don't beleive YouTube will allow me to post a link, but as a member of R2 Builders myself, buying a licensed replica kinda defeats the purpose of building it yourself.
Also, the licensed replicas go I think for at least a couple grand, and are non-functional, unlike the R2 in this video. Basically they just sit in your den or living room, where if you build it yourself, you can not only fill it with all these wonderful gadgets, but also mod it too!
