BMW took the name & made a modern car around it. It's rather like suggesting McD is food....yes, but not. If I wanted to drive a Mini, give me the product of BMC.....if you want a crash, give me the BMW......

Great video. I'm an American stationed in England. I have owned 2 Minis...both 1982 Mayfairs. Great little cars. However I sold them off and bought a US Spec R56 MINI Cooper S. I love it, it is great and fun. Before this I owned a '99 Mustang GT. The MINI is every bit as cool. I'd like to add that ALL post 1994 Minis were built by Rover via funding from BMW. BMW is even printed in the owners manuals for those post '94 Minis. Stop the fighting...
