i remember when i first heard this song i thought he was saying "these five words in my head scream are we having fun yet" but i now i know the words lol

@HungryBangout but thats kind of like saying "an omelet isn't eggs, because it has other stuff it in" it is a form of grunge, like Nu-Metal is to Heavy Metal. just without the rap. I say this defending OTHER post-grunge bands that deserve to be called Grunge but due to Grunge really being a Time and Place kind of genre, no new bands can be called grunge, they are all titled "Post Grunge".. But i agree that Nickelback isn't just grunge, they are many genre's

@IsThis4Entertainment post-grunge isnt grunge. Its inspired by grunge and as u said yourself has different elements such as rock and metal so its different.

@HungryBangout actually its Post-Grunge, or it fits into the catigory, its contains grunge elements fused with Mainstream or other genres. He has a hint of yarl when he sings made famous by Pearl Jam and Layne Styles from Alice in Chains which is no surprise because he likes AiC (they played live with the guitarist). they are not a stand alone "Post Grunge" because they are more rock and metal, but they do contain enough grunge elements to be called "post grunge", but so do a lot of bands

I watched several songs from this concert here on youtube and they all kick unbelievable ass. Amazing how good they sound live. I would have loved to be there.
