  • how long do you have to leave the ears like that? Also what time frame is the best for shaping the ears. 4 to 6 months or something else. thank Rhonda

  • You need to start working on ears as soon as they start to come up. This generally happens as they start cutting teeth, 6 to 8 weeks old. You will need to stay on them until they are at least 6 months old, I prefer 9 months. We use the tongueston powder and speed sew glue method. Most golf shops carry the powder and any craft store will have fast setting fabric glue. You can just keep adding layers until you get enough weight to pull them into shape. Hope that helped. Good Luck.

  • In order to show Aussies they can't be that way. It is to late to change hers as this has to be done before they are 6 months old to have any effect. Jazz is just a delight to have around, she has a wonderful sense of humor, but she doesn't like her ears to be pulled down. We took it off, just as soon as we were done video taping and she was instantly happy again.

  • Thank you for showing me how easy this is and it didn't look like she minded it at all!
