In this guitar lesson you will learn this Led Zeppelin classic, Babe I'm Gonna Leave You. This is Part 3 (the last part) in which we check out the rest of the tune!

Taught by Justin Sandercoe.

Full support at the justinguitar web site where you will find hundreds of lessons on a wide range of subjects, and all the scales and chords that you will ever need! There is a great forum too to get help, no matter what the problem.

And it is all totally free, no bull. No sample lessons, no memberships, no free ebook. Just tons of great lessons :)

To get help with this lesson (and for further info and tabs), find the Lesson ID in the video title (like ST-667 or whatever) and then look it up on the Lesson Index page of justinguitar.com

Have fun :)

Sorry to hear that. Nearly everyone who says they can't finger-pick (insert most any other technique there) simply hasn't put the time in yet. I assumed that was the case. I now do a lot of things that I once claimed I "couldn't" do.

You don't get it. I physically can't finger-pick. If I were given the choice, I would finger-pick so many songs, but I can't.

  • @FreddyGuy925

I sometimes play this with a pick, and other times with a hybrid of finger-picking and strumming with fingers (on the finger-picking parts). But work on your finger-picking, you'll be glad you did.

  • The outro can be played (and I think this is how page did it) up higher on the neck. Start here:

    E 12 (pinky)

    B 10 (ring)

    G 9 (middle)

    D X

    A X

    E 9 (first)

Walk the first finger down through the first three arpeggiated parts, then shift the pinky and ring fingers to replace the middle and ring fingers in time to hit the two triads, while the first continues its downward journey. I find it easier if the pinky is lifted and replaced for each arpeggio.

  • Too bad I can't finger-pick, but that isn't stopping me.

  • great lessone i need to work on my finger picking!!!

  • WORD OF NOTICE: he misses the bass note played by the thumb sometimes, it makes the song sound better, trust me listen to the song;)

  • thanks for theach me you are the best..

  • Naughty things happen.

  • thank yoy so much I needed to learn that outro , it still difficult.....it's actually VERY FUCKING HARD.... but I'll keep working on it :D . THanks again.

    Greetings from Perú!
