Your voice is perfect for chess commentating, and I simply LOVE the Caro-Kann and King's Indian Defense for Black, please try to make more videos featuring those two awesome defenses!
Great match, look forward to you playing Jrobi, GKB, KingsCrusher, etc!

At 6:30 , why not horse from c6 to b4, forking the king and the rook, and being defended from the queen by the bishop in h7? :D

Your videos looks good, thanks a lot. As we can see, you play an extended choice of openings. Isn't it better to focus on lines you are confident with?
-
@keeneyes1 tht wouldnt fork sht and if white castles then the move was for noothing after losing a tempo by pushing a pawn up forcing the nite back
-
@keeneyes1 Bb5+ and the knight would have to go back to block the check, you don't really want to play Ke7 :D
-
very good video. I learn a lot from you!
-
@NYMownsNYY That would be a bad move: after Rb1+ and exchanges it's a queen vs rook endgame, so black will not be able to mate without getting a promotion. Given the time situation, that move becomes even worse.

I just joined chesscube and EVERYONE plays this
:/

@keeneyes1 Umm Im pretty sure because the white bishop can come in and give check, forcing the knight to come back anyway, so a loss of a turn really. Sorry about the late reply, haha.

I dunno if anyone suggested this already, but ur pawn a7-a6, then knight c6-b4, would have put considerable, and undefensible pressure on his c2 sqaure. Even if he brought his rook over to defend, he'd lose pawn on a2, either way he'd lose a pawn, and structure....but you still won...its jsut a path that could have been taken in a caro kann build like yours...

I am becoming a fan of your games. Well played!

Nice video Jerry. I too hope someone organizes a tournament between the top chess youtubers. KC would do well in blitz games, but you are probably a stronger choice in longer games.
