@atheist0627 The C9 was actually faster than the C11.
-
I love how they looked back in '88 with the black paint... but with a name like Silver Arrow who wouldn't want it to be silver?
Did you know that the C9 is THE car that caused the chicanes to be put in place?
-
A wondervoll Sound
-
The C 9 runs 408 km/h in 1989, the C 11 was not so fast in 1991 because the ACO built
the 2 Chicanes in the Mulsanne Straight.
The Driver was Jean Louis Schlesser.
-
Yeah, it could outgun both cars. The C9 has a slightly higher top speed, I think.
-
I own a 911(and could say I am very partial to Porsche, as the 917 was shattering), but the C9 Mercedes was light years ahead of the 917 in any of it's forms.
At least the 917, 956/62 and 911GT1 did specifically was they were designed to do: win Le Mans.
-
maybe you're right, but there was a Sauber that reached 440km/h, maybe it was the C11
-
With all due respect to the 917,this is the greatest sporstcar ever built!
What a machine.

You mean 400km/h. The Sauber did 252 mph on the Mulsanne, not 273 mph...
