@7Gkar7 I read it's not much different than the ST ... averaging around 28mpg, but that does depend on the driving style, and lets face it, ya not going to eco-drive in a RS :P
I wish everyone would stop quoting £25k, I have ordered the green 1 with green seats as shown fully spec'd and I wont have much change from £31k and thats before that unelected one-eyed fat scottish prick we call a prime minister ramps the VAT back up to 17.5% I hope its
as good as every one claims as ford wouldnt let test drive one!
For anyone who compares the first generation RS to this new one.....Give up now!!!! The suspension, chasis and slip diff all work in a completely different way!! the RS 2009 model is designed as A-B ROAD car, it will beat pretty much anything u put in its way!!! also any car will torque steer if you manage to put the power down right, my first car was piddly saxo vts which would give small hints of torque steer!! this new RS a new break through in the many years of FWD development!!!
lol its good your a hard worker and i admire that. i only write long paragraphs when something im adoment on.. i dont want the car to fail as im a long time ford enthusiast and have owned an rs cosworth, bmw m3's, civic type r's and i currently own a 400bhp impreza p1 an i obviously had the old rs but when you have pysics in place and have driven such cars you know that front wheel drives just have a limit that others dont..but i shall book a test drive wen its out and i shall be in touch, peace
Yeah i am young but have prob owned cars that people my age wish they had only because i work my arse off for what i want. And secondly the new rs produces 324ibft so i think you may need to do some read ups on the car. And its just coincidence that every reviewer of this car say that it feels like ford are lying about what wheels are being driven. Nvm, cos our garage has it on order so i'll know soon. The fact you wrote all that made me laugh!! Can't wait for people to tell you the same thing!!
lol of course , but its about the money that you will pay when you are loading the tank.
Anyway i gues its worth it ... souch amazing car .. I want 2 :S One green and one tuned silver. Ooohoooo
