1. Disconnect from the internet
2. Open the appdata folder and go to the .minecraft folder
3. Find and replace sand1.ogg, sand2.ogg, sand3.ogg, sand4.ogg, and click.ogg with empty ogg files
4. Start minecraft and click offline mode
5. Make sure the blocks under the pressure plates are sand
6. Record
You have to disconnect because the game automatically fixes sounds every login
Yes, it was really that frustrating
