@jfggeorge I live in New York and I passed by this garage on more than quite a few occasions just going about my business, until one day I look at it and realized OMG this is "THE GARAGE" that I've read so many comments about here on youtube. It sickens me to know that now it houses Verizon(what a waste).I missed out because when the garage was in its heyday I was a little to young and quite shy to go out and 'party".D atmosphere has changed 4 D WORST! NY IS ALL ABOUT $ NOW! SO SAD!!!

@DREECHAS1 Thank you!! I've been searching for that song for 3 years!! SUMMER JUNKIES! I've been googling, searching all kinds of sites, engines, channels, cd covers. always getting closer and closer but never finding those keywords. Then finally, as I was about to give up again, i come across your post with the equation: Art Of Noise - Moment In Love + Peech Boys - Don't Make Me Wait = Summer Junkies - I'm Gonna Love You ! ...and i was like, "That's it!! That's it!!" mucho mucho gracias.

@BXspecial I grew up on this music wasn't there a station called WKTU fm 92 with Paco latino dj host back in the day ..shiiii That memory is stuck in my mind forever - went from the Bronx to Oakland...
I just remember Friday Nights at the Paradise Garage..Would get off the train at King Street at 2AM to get in, just about the time Larry would take over the booth and we'd be rocking to 11am Saturday...All through the night we'd be sipping on that "Punch" or eating sliced oranges until breakfast was served at 7am...There will NEVER be such an atmosphere again in NYC or anywhere else for that matter, though many have tried....
R.I.P Larry Levan!!!
