I would have to say he was still in the "attempting" part of the tuck. He never really had it completely tucked, although it was real close. So according to the rule, it was prob a correct call even if the rule is dumb.

good fuck em! 831 what are you a salinas cholo?!

They made the right call. And the Patriots went on to win and win and win.......
Now if you want to argue a bad call go back to the roughing the QB against the Patriots when the Patriots legally sacked Kenny Stabler years back!

I want someone from the east coast or NFL tell there isn't east coast bias in the NFL

Punk ass tuck Rule

The rule was made in 99 and this game was in 02. "..even if the player loses possession of the ball as he is attempting to tuck it back toward his body.." Pump fake or not it was being "tucked" back into his body. In this case, hate the game not the player.

Guys Guys.....Get over it!

not a giants fan but please spank the fucken patriots
You can plainly see that he has BOTH HANDS ON THE BALL WHEN THE BALL IS DISLODGED. What a joke. Changed the fortunes of two franchises for more than a decade. Both hands are on the ball at 58 seconds, CLEARLY, with it still in his grasp AS HE IS HIT. Worst call ever.

Technically it was not a bad call. It is a dumb rule. But the right call was made based on the rule. Which is dumb i agree.
