Makes you wonder if anyone realized what they were witnessing when they were filming this. Earle was just a fuckin kid here! I love LOVE that dude passes a joint after the song ended. Totally my scene. This is real country and I lament that it has all gone either bubble-gum teeny bop with a twang or phony tough guy fake patriotism bullshit hillbilly. These guys know what freedom really is and cherish what it truly means to be an American.

No shit. No shine. No record company. Just pure talent...in every seat at the table.

Doesn't make a difference, but I think you were right.

I think Sardog is right - it is a guy with long hair - he's tall, flat chest, and has an Adam's apple.

@TheShen420 If so then I must be wearing orthopedic shoes because I stand corrected. Not sure it makes a difference one way or the other if its a man or a woman? Passing the "J" was the point. But thanks.

I love Richard Dobson's "Hard by the Highway"...fantastic song. What a table of talent! Guy Clark, Dobson, Rodney and a young Steve Earl...lol lets get Towns and Uncle Seymor in there!
