This is a traditional song, one of the "tear your heart out" variety, about a young girl and her Wild Geese who's off to war.

can someone please tell me what this line means: Is go dte tu mo mhuirnin slan? There isn't a translation for that part of the song.

@AkunishiCreations My sentiments exactly. Mairin Fahy's Irish lilt is perfect for this, similar to Orla's, but it's a better arrangement.
