@ddrkid1919 They only teach it to Combat Medics because too many people were worried about getting an I.V. started while the soldier bled out.

@supersapper206 thanks for uploading this video. i look forward to going to BCT! but i wont let the DS know that and get singled out lol. i leave in 17 days to fort leonard wood. 12B is the job i asked for walking through the doors of the recruiters :)

I just got my waiver signed and hopefully will be to MEPS in early January so I can get this shit done!
Can I bring my dr scholls foot inserts to basic? Theyre comfy as hell plus they give me a half inch.

@Boston1775 Buy them when you get there, the DS will probably throw them away during in processing. You will get a chance to buy stuff like that at PX later, dont worry...

My buddy just graduated at Ft. Benning for Infantry in May he said that with their first aid they didn't use needles or anything, so I guess they don't practice sticking needles anymore for combat engineer either?
