  • @fiddlercrab3 reminds me more of bill frisell or terje rypdal or some ECM electric guitarists, . I recall some of Summer's earlier fusion works where he sounded kinda like allan holdsworth, and when asked in an interview, he said he didn't listen to holdsworth (or like him, for that matter). must be a challenge; as a pop guitarist Summers is a singular, iconoclastic guitarist, a trend-setter, but at jazz, he's just a pup. I like his laconic approach; less notes=wider appeal...
