Hi,great cover,heard Charlie sing this live 3 weeks ago.

Rarely does anyone cover Charlie's songs,excellent job.

Have seen Charlie many times,for me the highlight of all his shows is when he has the stage to himself with just hus guitar and sings,Isle Of Innisfree.

@jamesfdonaldson Hi, Jim,This year Charlie has some new band members,Pete Brazil his lead guitarist doing his own thing,liked him on the accordion A good replacement,Charlie's Son Jamie now acoustic guitar,2 keyboard players but I really missed his drummer who had retired ,on the slow beginning version of Shine Your Light when the whole band come to the up tempo bit,not the same as the old band with the drummer.

But still a good band,and Charlie on top form.

@BABSINUK Jamie's a fine singer/songwriter.....heard a few things of his. Oh yes, there's a selection of songs that can are enhanced by the 'dynamics' of synthesizers and drums........but the 'core' of Charlie's work is the vocal and lyrical craft in his songs. IMHO. !!!!

I've been getting a few 'reports' on the 'new' band , all positive.

@7761864 Thanks Brian, ..I'm fine ,trust everything ok with yourself . Charlie's a friend from years back and a fine writer. He's quite a 'name' over here and regularly tours ( theatre level ). He knows my views on 'synth sounds' , but hey, what do I know, I can't buy a gig. LoL. My version's the way Charlie would sing this with just guitar, that's where he's at his best. IMHO. !!!

@evsynator Yes , one of my favourite of Charlie's many fine songs. This one allowed me to try and do a little bit more on guitar arrangement ,but not quite 'nailing' it as best as hoped for......still, it's a fine song.
