I prefer this intro to the 7 min longer one.

It explained the history of game but it didn't reveal Nomads who were the biggest surprise and suspense in the whole game.

the music from 0:01 to 0:20 is the same music heard in alien 2 in the beggining of the movie

The sleeper ship thing reminds me of some of the plot elements from the anime/manga, Trigun.

This game also seriously deserves a sequel, or at the very least, more attention and acclaim. :/

But another thing I like about this, is if you take away the spaceships and lasers, it actually becomes a small story anology on how you can overcome great difficulty and hardship and NEVER to give up, no matter how much is against you or how bad it seems It WILL get better if you don`t give up.

.In some way I`ve found echoes of my own life in this.

Cool as it might be as a plot, it would be pointless if the Coalition invaded. The whole point of this intro is a commentary on the futility of war and division, An invasion by the Coalition would kind of invalidate that... the message is that we're all the same in the end, and that warfare is just barbarism.
