You should discuss the 40 in another vid. I'm not a fan of the round. It's suppose to be an intermediate round but I find both rounds it's suppose to replace better in their own respects.

Does pulling the triger to strip down the gun instead of lowering the lever damage it in any sort of way?

I use a cleaner that is a one step. "cleans and lubricates at the same time. If you do not use a product like Strike Hold "see my video on Strike Hold" then the answer is "Yes you nust lub the gun"

If it did I would not have shown this way of stripping it. The lver as you called it is just a way to strip it without the triger pull. But it justa makes it more expencive to make the gun and is a pain in the ass. Thank for your question it was a good one.

Thank you. funny thing so many people give me a hard time about the triger pull thing! that gun is suposed to strip with out pulling the triger but in my exprince it is easer this way.

Thank you so much for this video; I've had my M&P 45 for a couple of years; when I first bought it I couldn't get it to field strip without a ton of effort and it was very inconsistent; I actually took it back to Wades in Bellevue WA where I bought it to have their gun smith "fix" it; after eight weeks they gave it back to me "fixed"; and it still wouldn't strip down;( I can't believe they didn't know the trigger pull trick; One question though; Isn't lube needed? Thanks Jeff!
