Hawaiian claimed that they had to raise their frequent flyer points in September by as much as 50% due to rising oil costs. Then they claimed that they hadn't raised the rate for years and asked for our understanding.
Well why should they raise the rate?! Flyers are awarded points by travel and money spent ... with their associates or their credit card (which has a yearly fee). SO basically your flyer points were tied to an inflationairy dollar anyway.
Giving people 1 month to use their points or get completely screwed also seems grossly unfair. ESPECIALLY with the amount of revenues Hawaiian is now earning. With ATA and ALOHA out of the scene and a BIG settlement with MESA airlines, their profits are up over $50,000,000 (that's $50 million) in the first quarter alone! At that rate they'll gross over $200 MILLION.
On top of that they wish to screw their patrons? Well I think we should tell Hawaiian how we feel.
AND I DID!
HOW THE HELL YOU HATE HAWAIIAN AIRLINES..... THERE THE BEST AIRLINE THAT IS FLYING AROUND THIS MAINLAND FUCKING PLACE......
