John Lennon 67th Birthday Tribute NYC 2007 Strawberry Field

Here is a small collection of photos I took at the tribute at Strawberry Fields in Central Park NYC on what would have been John Lennon's 67th Birthday...(was Sean's 32nd Birthday as well).

Anyways the pictures aren't perfect but they're certainly good enough. The pictures are from 1:30-4pm on October 9, 2007. I will be uploading video from the event as well. If you were there be sure to leave a comment! (I was on the opposite side of the "band", up around the edge of the mosaic. I was wearing a dark grey Beatles sweat shirt & a John Lennon Pin.... I'm 16 yrs old)

Wow! I´m the guy in second 1:19 with a black Lennon t-shirt staring down. Thanks for uploading those wonderful pictures. I am from Venezuela, huge John fan and was on holidays in NY, so I could not miss the chance to be there in that special day and place.

I've heard the "band" is going to get there around 1:00-1:30pm.

People do bring candles, and there will be a moment of silence (around 11:00pm).

It was my first time going to Strawberry Fields, and I have to say I'm VERY glad I went. You guys were great! I am planning to go back on December 8th, only 57 days to go!
