Me playing Ghosts 'n Goblins on Commodore Plus/4 - 1986

Sometimes it can even be fun to write a damning review. And believe me my friends, Ghosts 'n Goblins for Commodore Plus/4 C16 really deserved it! ;-)
This game is so unbelievable shitty, it will blow off your mind!

You are some sort of ghosthunter, who has to kill zombies, flying "stuff" and the boss at each level.
Fortunately the C16 version has only two levels. I remeber the Coin-up Arcade in the early 80's which was actually very well designed.
But this "masterpiece" is a crack in the ass!

Anyway, have fun watching it! ;-)

  • The management of graphics and sprites 16/PLUS the Commodore 4 was terrible .. every game frustration, my dream was the Commodore 64

  • Oh my lord, this is a hilariously bad conversion.

  • omg das hab ich geliebt, wenn ich es heute sehe lach ich mich weg wg grafik...Aber ich erinnere mich gern zurück,da war ich 14

  • This is why the +4 was a poor man's C64. The only thing it had going for it was a bigger colour palette, but what's the use of that without any hardware sprites?

  • Sprites are for spoiled brats.

  • wow

  • Hi, I had a couple C64's and played Ghosts 'n Goblins, which was a very good game. My friend had a Plus/4 and kept telling me how much better that computer is (something about more colors etc.). I actually played some games at his house using that computer once. I don't remember how good or bad those games I played were, but this video's version of GnG is just HORRIBLE. I would seriously "catch" epilepsy from this... :-)))))))) I loved my C64's a LOT. And I still DO. Whenever I feel sad, lemon64
