You might think about selling some of this stuff. I would pay for the hammock mod

Too many things to go wrong. A simple length of rope with a good knot.

Had my Stoneage Bushcraft woopie slings for a few months now and they make set up so much easier, no more undoing and redoing knots. Great product and hard to purchase unless you live in the US, so cheers again MIke

Neat set up. Do you still prefer the under blanket over any other form of insulation?

It's really amazing to see your presentation and video production skills improve since the early days. As always, an excellent video. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

Cheers for clearing a few things up about my questions on set up using the whoopie slings and the storage bag. I'll get in contact with you about buying the slings and tree huggers etc over the next few days. Would have done it sooner but the pc has been on the blink. One more question, how small a bag do you need for your bug net as the one I was going to use takes up the same amount of space as my hammock and tarp put together.
Thanks again mate

Have you ever seen what DEET will do to plastic? And people put it on themselves! Reminds me a little of DDT.
Hello Mike I was just wondering if you could recommend a good hammock set for me..

Mike, I was looking into purchasing a hammock before, but found that the hammocks that were available to me locally are made for people who are less than 6' tall. I'm 6'1" and about 190 lbs. Don't really know if I would be comfortable in the hammock. Is there a rule that I can use to choose a hammock? Still intrigued and want to try one.

those whoopie slings are like ultra lite slap straps. i have these and use them with my hennessey hyperlite. extend the reach an extra 6' on each side but have multiple loops to connect any where. very good vid mike. and great new place you found for vids.
