The water boarding story ended up being not true. But it was anti-Bush news so people are still passing it off as fact. Are "torture" is puppies and candycanes compared to our enemies. If it makes them talk, then so be it.

And Bush has put more minorities in power than any president in history. I'm Mexican, but I don't have to make everything a race issue. And I can't believe that there are people out there still thinking we're stealing oil.

What?! Polls also show that everyone here in the USA hates Bush. I've never been called for a poll, have you? Just because you read it in the paper, doesn't make it true. Journalists today are not the same guys who just want to report the facts. They need to create contraversy to keep you tuning in, and you buy into it. Talk to soldiers, talk to Iraqis and you will learn that you truly don't know what the hell is going on.

Exactly right..Even do i`m european i fully agree with you. If a president starts saying somthing so rediculous that it goes against the geneva convention (the ultimate law afther ww2, for witch millions had to die) you can not support a president in anything, ANYTHING he says are does afther. Mitch, I immediatelly liked both your position, as well as your argumentation. It is an important mote, in my opinion that the neo-con ideology is not an ideology rooted in democratic principles, it has hardly any connection to democratic style old Conservativism. When one investigates their ideological roots, or what these people stand, find all sort of totalitarian sympathies, be it either hard left trotskyism, or nazi-style right wing authocratism.

Hitler annhilated the german constitution after the Reichstag terrorist attack, and did so in the name of fighting terrorism and communism. Hitler then turned against his own people, like any dictatorship does and started going after anybody he deemed as an enemy of the state. I missed you mitchman. What is barbaric about the conditions at Abu Ghraib? Food they want, excercise, a Koran, clean clothes, prayer time, privacy. Most of your "innocent men" were caught on the battlefield. They were let go for not having any significance in their group. Some were even threatened into fighting. They are treated better than american murderers and rapists.
