pretty ridiculous. I wonder if there's a ECU map for that mod? lol
-
damage your cams? Yea, kyle. If you don't wear your seat belt then your windshield might begin to leak

GOOD VID. I BEEN USING EXAUST SPACERS FOR YEARS. ITS A CHEAP WAY TO GET THAT SOUND U WANT. LIKE( KYLESTER818) SAID ONLY DOWNSIDE IS U MAY LOSE A LIL BOTTOM OR TOP END, DEPENDS ON THE CAR YOUR USING IT ON. ITS ALMOST LIKE HAVING EXAUST CUTOUTS, THE ONLY DIFF IS YOUR JUST MAKING A GAP INSTEAD OF RUNNING OPEN EXAUST:) KEEP IN MIND , IF U LOSE BOTTOM END U GAIN IT ON THE TOP, VICE VERSE.

Is there any set size of washers you used for that?
-
@kylester816 u shud have put the gymkhana exhaust in instead
-
@massdrewski haha thank you
-
@rampagehockey21 it doesnt damage it at all, but you'll notice a little less boost from the turbo's past 4-5000 rpm. atleast that's what i noticed when i ran mine like this
-
@Zdrummer45 lol the turbo needs back pressure to fully function. they tune them to run with the muffler still connected so if you are still running it like this, you're not maximizing your turbo boost
-
@moredotsmore haha they're both sick, i wanted the 5 door because it's a little more flexible with trunk space but the 4 doors have a sick dual exhaust. ill keep mine though thanks :]

@BLURCEG haha thank you, i drove around for a couple days but after saving up some money, i put a borla in in the beginning of june
-
@BLURCEG haha thank you, i drove around for a day or two loving the note but this summer, i put a borla on it
Do yourself a favor and bolt that back up, gaps like that are what you want to avoid. I wouldnt be surprised if that voided your warranty.

@RB280z haha void my warranty? subaru loves to let people play around with their cars. they would laugh at the suggestion that shit should void the warranty. the only thing it does is make it illegal to drive on the street because your air is leaving your engine untreated as opposed to through the muffler. the turbo requires backpressure to fully maintain function so when you drive with the exhaust like this, you'll lose the slightest edge in top end full-boosted torque but thats it!
