  • Hey Adam, im installing a new radio in my F150 and everything in your truck looks like mine (which is an 02). I am missing the face plate part for it, and i was wondering if you could tell me where you got yours so i could buy one. The radio i bought did not come with one unfortunately.

  • @MrDevin824 I bought my mounting kit at Best Buy. If you have any questions, I'm sure they can help!

  • Hey, I have 2001 model and everything looks very similar. And recently I had my cd player just completely stop working so i am going to install a new one with Aux and USB port and all that good stuff. by watching your videos I now have a better understanding how to do everything but I have 1 problem. My antenna was broke off because the threads rusted off. Do you know how hard it would be to change antenna's on these trucks?

  • @Venseti Hey Venseti, if the antenna is broken, I suggest cutting the tip off the cable completely and I would purchase a new tip and solder them together. Lemme know if that works!

  • hey adam Im trying to put a new radio in my truck. Same as you 1999 f150. Do you know if you need those two hooks to take the radio out? And would a double din cd receiver fit in there, because the factory radio has an offset to it so it looks like a big square radio may not fit. I have not opened up my dash yet to check it out. Thanks

  • @MGiants82 Yes you do need the tools, because they spread a latch to free the radio. What you need to do is measure the opening and measure the receiver to see if it'll work. If you have any other questions, I'm here to help!

  • Hey Adam i recently have started improving my 1997 f-150 xlt and i was wondering if you could do a video on your truck on how to take the 6 cd changer that is in the back left side of the truck. if you have one in your truck. i am wanting to replace that space with a amp. thanks.

  • idk if you still check the channel but does that work for 1998s too? like does it say in the book

  • did you have to change the wires or just plug straight into the existing connections?

  • adam i have a 2001 f150 lariat with the 6 disk changer in the center console. I like this stereo a lot do you think there is a way to keep the 6 disk changer working in the center console while i still use this sony stereo. Where did you purchase this one and what is the model ? thanks

  • Hey Adam, Im planning to install a after market radio into my 2003 F1-50, and I have the same Sosche kit you have. I was wondering about the metal bracket that comes on the after market radio and how I install and secure that. If you could help at all that'd be great

    thanks
