@Aubietiger43 that'll be why it's now illegal to crop ears AND dock tails in the UK then... unless the dog has MEDICAL reasons to require these things it's not legal anymore. Anyone that does it here is breaking the law unless they have a specific registration in order to carry it out. Just saying... o_O

@CaddellL this is how the AKC sees the doberman, this dog looks like a fucking hound when u dont dock the ears and crop the tail. the doberman isnt seen suppose to look sweet and innocent, its a fucking guard dog, this is why its this breed.

@Aubietiger43 Your an ass, What reason do you need to crop the ears and dock the tail other than to make it look mean?? The dog is born with a tail and floppy ears so thats how its supposed to be.

People crop their ears to stop infection. Dobermans are prone to ear infections and the best way to lessen the risk or even prevent it is to crop their ears.
