The countdown continues to the 2010 world cup in South Africa and FIFA has just chosen Lagos as one of the hosting cities for its Under 17 World Cup tournament. Here is more on the preparations going on.
Did I just hear this irritating sounding girl say that Teslim Balogun is the Webley of Nigeria. What utter nonsense. The Abuja national stadium makes Weblem look like Hackney Marshes. I wonder if the the old national stadium in Lagos will get modenised it is in a delorable state. Don't get me wrong I lik eteh Teslim Balogun stadium but ignorant foreign viewers might be mislead by her statement, and think teslim balogun stadium is teh biggest in Nigeria.
Under 17 World Cup scheduled to yake place in Lagos, would certainly attract soccer fans from around the world supporting their home teams, along with their official supporters clubs. Many of the hotels and restaurants in lagos would be fully booked, the fans and taurist can also cool off at the many sandy beaches near the Stadium,it will surely be a great boost to the states economy, thanks once again Gov.Fash for putting Lagos on the sports map.
This is quite amaizing That Fashola is able to transform Lagos into A model and a Beacon of African Modern City. Fashola is exceeding all expectation while Uncle Yar-Slow is busy getting medical dialisys in the Arabian Desert. What an Irony. Keep it up Fash4Life....
