Great stuff! I had fun touring the factory while I was there (though on off hours while no one was working, and I walked away with a very nice practice chanter. My first one was a Dunbar, which my instructor repeatedly called Dunbad. My second came from Scotland by way of my ex fiance, a huge improvement, but my third is the Gibson chanter, and is by far the best. I can't wait to be able to afford a full set!

I own a metal lathe at home and sure would love to come by one day and learn basic techniques in pipe making.

As a beginning piper I was fortunate enough to find an instructor in my area who studied at The College of Piping in Glasgow as a boy. When I asked him what bagpipes does he recommend he immediately suggested Gibsons. I followed his suggestion and bought a set of Gibson R110s and have been extremely pleased with my pipes. Gibson does truly make a find product.

Never knew Ratz was a drummer!

What band is that with the Kitchner bonnets. The pipers seem to be busy looking around at the sights rather than paying attention to the PM and the tune.

Well done, good video clip.
Finally! A program that's really interested in the instrument.
