Documentary about Brandon Teena (aka Teena Brandon), a Transgender person, who was brutally raped and murdered in 1993 in rural Nebraska. The story is told through interviews with people who knew Brandon, recorded interrogation and trial transcripts, and photographs and file film footage.

@jessieblift Who has decreed this as a "big issue"? Some shrink? How do you know what it really is? I have educated myself on this. I don't buy into it. Seems that the people who do just believe whatever is shoveled at them by bullshit psychologists and the media.. I'll bet you think it was perfectly okay for her to have lied and fooled the women she was intimate with as well - what about their rights to their sexuality?

i feel bad for brandon that is truly a sad story but she should have been more honest with the people she got involved with. its not right to have poeple find out they were in a same sex relationship, as some people are against that. you have to respect those who are different (brandon being this) but you also have to respect poeples beliefs and sexual preferences etc. respect goes two ways. killing him just wrong however no excuse to do that and his killers should be punished to fullextent

christians say god made everything and that he never makes mistakes.so christians explain when some ppl are born with both male and female parts.i'm a nurse and have seen this a few times so why is it so hard to believe that a boy can be born with a female body or a female in a boys body.@ljbroussard you are right you see this in nature a lot..lol but i never heard of gay doves but at least i learned something new today thank you
