  • Not bad at all. Since Bak Mei was taught in a one-on-one system in it's early days, may forms from these lineages looks different from each other. That should not be a problem as long as the basic concepts of Bak Mei are there...we all Bak Mei. There is no Right Style of Bak Mei. And as for the critique of the performer, I think we should all practice more and critique less...specially amoung each other within Bak Mei...thanks.

  • This form is a combination of Jik Bo, Sup Jee, and Sei Moon, very similiar to all these forms, for example the first movements of the form are Jik Bo movements, and the same movements are repeated the other direction, just like Jik Bo. This form is simply an extension (summary) of these 3 forms, and I learned the tremor force, and shock power, or Sai Dong Ging, Geng Jak Ging through Jik bo, and Sup Gee, even though these forces can be learnt through this form too. Jik Bo is the key.

  • @2redstick

Anything on Southern Dragon and Southern White Crane bro?

  • @TingSingChiKung,If you look at the history of these 3 systems: Bak Mei, Lung Ying, and Southern Praying Mantis, then you will find all the founders of these systems are Hakka people that came from Dong Gong area of Guang Dong. Many people outside of these 3 systems might not know, Lum Yiu Gwai, the Long Ying developer, and Cheung Lai Chuen, Bak Mei developer, are cousins by marriage and they are good friends when they were young until the end of their life in Hong Kong in the 19

  • thanks for getting this stuff out there melbourne australia

  • so THATS what that style that the noble was using in prodigal son. oooooooh, wow.

  • It surprises me just how similiar Lung Ying, and Pak Mei really are, they are just variations of eachother, with different personalities, but similiar movements...cheers

  • enjoyed it!
