This version has been modified to include things that I felt were necessary.

I wanted to just make a quick video on something game related, and this was an idea I had before. It's sloppy and was done as two continuous shots, but I'm satisfied with it.
Mostly just an experiment.
Anyways, I highly recommend you find a few eBay sellers/stores, s here are a couple that I use frequently.

Lots of Super Nintendo, nes, genesis, and 64 games.

Every few weeks he throws up hundreds of Master system, Genesis, 32 x, Sega CD, Saturn, Dreamcast, and NES games. Occasionally has other stuff, but in the meantime he has nothing.

There are others out there. you just have to look.
Thanks for watching.

  • It looks to me like eBay is great if you live in the US. For the rest of the world it's probably still worth going to game stores. Many PAL titles for instance, even really common ones that sell for just a few dollars in the states, will fetch ridiculous prices. 4-5x more than their NTSC counterparts :(

  • @mrxsive

You know what, you're right, at least from what limited perspective I have on it here in the states. I've only occasionally found PAL snes games in stores, and they are generally cheaper in store, even here, than on ebay.

    Just very difficult to find.

  • Craigslist is a good source for buying games though not on average, you can find some really good buys. I found zombies ate my neighbors, yoshi's island, goof troop and several other games for $2 each, which is a good buy since most of those games on ebay are around $10 to $15

  • Craigslist can be amazing, though it obviously varies based on where you are. Someone around here had a 64 with 30 games that would probably sell individually for a combined total of about $150-175, 4 controllers and some memory cards for $50.

They never responded, and I haven't caught a deal like that since. Definitely worth checking often.

  • Dead spiders, cob webs, and decaying plants! Heehee! Okay, I need to know, did the SEGA Saturn work?

  • It did not. I assume because the spiders and plants were dead.

    ... I'm sorry.

I haven't been able to determine the actual problem, but the disc motor seemed to no longer work, as well as the laser. Saturns are kind of fragile, and for all I know it was dropped one too many times in shipment. Had it worked, I would have been solidly impressed with the hardware, but as it stands I am still waiting for an explanation on the plants.

  • Haha lukie games i buy from that place!

  • Go to thrift stores, period.

  • I feel ya man, some guy tried to sell me castlevania for 40 bucks, i got it on ebay for 12 :D

  • Cool video. Though, when it comes to me buying old games from a game store, I generally would resort to The Exchange and another local retro game store in my hometown called "People Play Games". Amazon & Ebay would be cool, but half the time, the shipping can cost you a premium depending on what games you get.
