Great vid! You have me thinking about trying to make a couple of semi truck bodys, Tamiya's Globe liner and King hauler. but I think I'm gonna use thinner gauge metal 'cause i don't need that much strength, mostly show. thanks for posting these videos

@TheCjcoon you can get sheet metal from ace hardware last time i bought a sheet it was $7 i lived in a neighborhood where they where building alot of new houses when they where done with the material it went in the trash they didnt save anything so i got alot of free galvanised angled flashing for free you can get it at home depot or if you live near a new housing development check the build site dumpsters

what if you have something like a classic VW that has fat fenders?
luigi2999 3 months ago
@luigi2999 i would make what i could of the body .then make the fenders from fiberglass . i would put foam blocks on either side of the body lightly tack them on with hot glue then shave them down until they look right and fiberglass them . once they are dry desolve the styrofoam with Acetone and glue the fenders on .or you can try to beat the curves out of the sheet metal with a hammer and a sand bag but it takes forever and would be difcult to repair if damaged
