@ATLDART Thats cool, in 2010 I placed 6th in the World Atlatl Association at Letchworth. I don't think that is Marlin in that video, but Marlin was only 8 at the time and he beat me :P

nice! Im 15, and can throw my darts (pvc :() out of my atlatl (a chopped, wittled branch) about half and half at a turkey tarket....im sure if i had some good darts, and a better thrower, I'd be dead on 9/10, those kids are amazing, nice to see good parenting:)

@NativeNewYorkGuy lol I agree, and I live in Virginia... lots of hunters here. Killing because you enjoy it is WRONG. Killing for sport is WRONG. Teaching children that killing is fun is HORRIBLE!!! Killing to survive gets a thumbs up for me though. Never too young to learn how to survive, its a necessary skill as a human being. I don't have a problem with practicing on dummies though. Go ahead, just don't go around killing innocent animals for fun. People who do this should be executed.

@blackfeatherarchery Yes it does. But it's not that hard to learn. The oldest boy in the video, which is now almost 13, placed 5th in the world in the World Atlatl Association for 2010. Youth division.
