Just a bit of photography history in this segment. At the turn of the century , the Lumiere brothers were pretty darn busy , what with cinema innovations and all. But the also had time to come up with autochromes which became the basis for color photography emulsions as we knew them. I say knew, because we are just about digital now. The Daniel Blau Gallery and Galerie-Meyer in Paris were kind enough to give us some background on autochromes and a glimpse at some original examples.
