We first saw Rooftop Vigilantes at the Scion Garage Fest in Kansas last fall. The Lawrence-based quartet was the first act on the festival bill and played to a half-empty Liberty Hall in the early afternoon hours as road-trippers were still filing into the quiet college town. We were blown away by the raw energy and gusto that the band displayed at such an early hour, to such a small crowd, in such a way-too-big-room for they're current level of success. We knew we had to have them into Uneven Studio when they played the Hi-Dive a few months later.
Cheers
